WTB and SHA welcomed ASHE Chesapeake to the MD 175 at MD 295 Interchange Improvement Project for a construction tour on September 25, 2024.
The project team presented the history and design behind the proposed interchange improvements, as well as construction activities to date, including SHA’s first implementation of practices necessary to meet new MDE 20-CP dewatering turbidity requirements through mechanical filtration or chemical flocculants.
The group made a visit to the construction site, observing sediment basins, future SWM facilities, ramp realignments, base widening preparation, drainage trunk lines, and noise walls.
